Trapenberg Frick Paper Shortlisted by Planning Theory and Practice Journal

Congratulations to Co-Director of the University of California Transportation Center (UCTC) and Assistant Director of the University of California Transportation Center on Economic Competitiveness in Transportation (UCCONNECT) and City and Regional Planning Adjunct Assistant Professor Karen Trapenberg Frick. Her latest paper “Citizen Activism, Conservative Views & MegaPlanning in a Digital Era,” has been shortlisted by the journal, Planning Theory and Practice during its nomination process for the 2017 Prize Paper of the Association of European Schools of Planning (AESOP).


This is her third Tea Party/conservative paper that has received journal article recognition, including the Journal of the American Planning Association Best Paper and Urban Studies "Top Five" shortlist.
