Resources for the Media
In support of our mission as a public research institution, ITS Berkeley makes every effort to provide information and experts to the media to help shed light on transportation issues in the news. We have experts in the areas of intelligent transportation systems, traffic flow, urban planning, infrastructure, aviation, human behavior, and a number of sustainability issues, including alternative fuel vehicles and car sharing.
Please note that our experts are often busy with the demands of teaching, research, and other responsibilities; as much advance notice as possible is helpful.
To find a transportation expert at ITS Berkeley, contact Christine Cosgrove at ITS. You can also contact Sarah Yang in the campus Media Relations office.
To find an expert specifically at the Safe Transportation Research & Education Center (SafeTREC, formerly the Traffic Safety Center), contact Phyllis Orrick.
Check the UC Berkeley Media Relations Faculty Experts Directory.
