ITS Systems: Service Catalog

ITS Systems staff provide a wide variety of research, programmatic, and business services to faculty, students and staff at ITS, ITS centers, the ITS Library and UCTC.  To contact ITS Systems staff, send e-mail to it@its.berkeley.edu or call (510) 642-1008.

We provide consultation and services in the following areas:

Research Computing Support

Project PI's can enlist the services of Systems staff for short- or long-term project work.

Web Services

We can help connect your group with existing resources, facilitate with standard Web hosting, or create custom Web services to meet unique needs.

Servers, System Administration, and Co-location

Systems staff oversee "care and feeding" of servers used for research, business, and programmatic functions.  Most of these are installed in the high-tech, secure campus colocation facility.

Business Systems

Internal business processes can be made more effective through the innovative use of IT.

Workstation and Workgroup Support

ITS Systems staff provide a range of support for individuals and workgroups in research, business, and programmatic roles.

Software

Software is available under a number of licensing and purchasing agreements.  Check with us for help with choosing the best software for the task, appropriate lincense types, and installation.

Policy and Compliance

Systems staff can help workgroups stay current with changes in IT policy and best practices.
