ITS Systems: Research Computing Support

ITS Systems staff regular contribute to research projects.  The level of participation varies from one-time, smaller technical tasks, to ongoing long-term development, system administration, or fieldwork commitments.  Interested PI's can contact Systems Staff any time to discuss ways in which we can contribute to your project. 

Data processing

ITS Systems staff can create and maintain systems for acquiring, processing, storing, and transferring data.

System administration

If your project requires dedicated servers, Systems staff can take responsibility for routine system configuration and maintenance, including log monitoring, security configuration, and updates.

Custom software

A number of the Institute's cutting-edge research projects require software that doesn't exist.  Systems staff are available to work directly on projects and build solutions for research.  We're here for the long term, and can provide continuity of custom software support from semester to semester.

FREQ12

FREQ12 is a Windows application developed by ITS to analyze a single direction freeway corridor. This software is no longer under development, but is available for download.
