The Vice Chancellor for Research Office (VCRO) is excited to invite applications for the 2018 cycle of the Chau Hoi Shuen Foundation Women in Science Program, which awards grants of $50,000 to support UC Berkeley female faculty members who are engaged in collaborative research projects with female scientists in China.
Priority will be given to projects that offer scientists opportunities for meaningful collaboration and long-term partnerships, with a particular emphasis in the biological sciences. Supported activities include, but are not limited to: research proposals and joint laboratories; international seminars, travel, conferences and colloquia; and exchange of scholars and graduate students. Support will start in early 2018.
Applications are due to VCRO on Friday November 3, 2017.
