Join us for the Civil and Environmental Engineering Open House on Critical Issues in Transportation from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on the Banatao Auditorium (310 Sutardja Dai Hall) April 5 for all accepted Transportation Engineering graduate students. After a morning of informational sessions, ITS Berkeley, UCCONNECT, TSRC, CITRIS and TRANSOC, are hosting a panel on What’s Driving the Research Agenda of the 21st Century? with moderator Susan Shaheen, TSRC Co-Director and professor, and panelists Neil Pedersen, Executive Director of the Transportation Research Board, alum Therese McMillan, Executive Director of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, and alum YuYu Zhang, associate professor at University of South Florida. This panel will be followed by a reception from 3:15- 4:00 p.m. in the Banatao Atrium and our Transportation Seminar at 4:00 p.m. in the Banatao Auditorium, featuring Rutgers University-Camden’s Benedetto Piccoli, who will presentLagrangian and Sparse Control for Multi-agents Dynamics and Traffic.
