Darling Named NICR Student of the Year

Wesley DarlingCongratulations to Civil and Environemental Engineering (CEE) doctoral student Wesley Darling on being named National Institute for Congestion Reduction (NICR) Student of the Year!

Darling is interesed in modeling human/vehicle travel behavior and patterns, transportation network companies, equitable mobility and livable communities.

He is advised by CEE Professor Mike Cassidy and has worked on NICR projects with CEE Professor Susan Shaheen.

Darling completed his MS in transportation at UC Berkeley in 2021 and began his PhD work. Before Berkeley, he studied civil engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville an studied business administration (with minors in screenwriting and physics) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
