Engineering Innovative Paths and Pacts between US and EU towards a Sustainable Environment

Scott Moura, PATH Faculty Director, Director of the eCAL, and Clare & Hsieh Wen Shen Distinguished Professor in Civil & Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley, presented his current research projects about energy systems, vehicle electrification, distributed energy resources, and the significant improvements of the California Partners for Advanced Transportation Technology (PATH) at the Engineering Innovative Paths and Pacts between US and EU towards a Sustainable Environment lecture on Nov. 8, 2023.

Also presenting, Agata Kotkowska, European Commission Deputy Head of Finance, Budget and Audit Unit in DG Environment and Visiting Researcher at UC Berkeley, illustrated Sustainable Energy Practices and Green Budgeting taking place in the context of the European Union.

Pedro Pinto, Consul-General of Portugal in San Francisco, also talked about Portugal and its role in creating a sustainable environment.

The event was moderated by Duarte Pinheiro, Executive-Director of the CPS, UC Berkeley.
