Description: This briefing will review the status of electric vehicle adoption and charging infrastructure in California; discuss the power grid's evolution in response to the state's clean energy goals; review electric vehicle and grid integration concepts; and highlight opportunities for state policy that will help maximize the synergies between transportation electrification and clean energy goals.

Opportunities for Using Shared Mobility Data to Support Planning, Policy, and Research

Description: This briefing will highlight findings from a new issue brief from the UC Institute of Transportation Studies on using mobility data for planning, policy, and research. Examples of real world questions mobility data can be used to address will be presented along with an evaluation of whether data available today via current data specifications and/or data sharing practices are sufficient to address these questions. Models for sharing mobility data between the private and public sectors will also be discussed.
