May 19, 2020

Congratulations to the class of 2020!

It has been an unusual year to say the least and you finished strong — for that we commend you. This semester's challenges have shown the true grit of University of California Berkeley’s students, faculty, staff, and alumni. You quickly adapted to remote classes and adjusted to attending classes in different time zones. You kept up with your work and research, and you had your campus experience upended. You took these unexpected circumstances seriously and in stride. You made the best of your education and circumstances. Thank you for diligence, we were proud of you as students, and we are proud to now call you alumni.

We know that this is not what you envisioned when you began your academic journey at Cal, and we look forward to the day we can gather together to celebrate your accomplishments at Cal. In the meantime, we want to recognize the achievements and contributions of the many students that help make ITS Berkeley a success. Congratulations graduates, and Go Bears!

See the College of Engineering and College of Environmental Design celebrations for graduates.
