The Center for Smart Infrastructure is a partnership between infrastructure owners, academia, industry, and regulators to address the most pressing and challenging issues of today. Located at the Richmond Field Station, it is a close collaboration between East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) and UC Berkeley. It will address challenges with aging infrastructure, climate change, water supply and emergency preparedness. Congressman Swalwell toured the facility and learned about the center’s research and outreach efforts.
