Twenty-eight new transportation students met faculty, staff, and each other in the Transportation Library on August 23 during a day of orientation activities. The new group includes 15 students from nine foreign countries -- China, Colombia, France, India, Japan, Lebanon, Morocco, Peru, and Vietnam -- and 13 U.S. students from six states, including eight from California. Presentations by faculty members covered academic program requirements and research opportunities. Most, if not all, incoming students will find graduate student research positions with one of the nine research centers associated with ITS. Watch the slide show.
