On April 17, 2024, the Institute of Transportation Studies signed an MOU with the Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH).
ITS Berkeley Partners for Advanced Transportation Technology leadership met with visitors from KATECH to talk about their respective programs and future collaboration opportunities. KATECH visitors included KATECH President, Mr. NA Seung Sik, Global Cooperation Division Managing Director Dr. Jae Yong PARK, Mobility Safety Lab Leader Dr. You-Jun CHOI, and current and incoming heads of their North America office in San Jose, Mr. Se Yeop KIM and Mr. Jun Jang SUNG.
The MOU is a general research cooperation agreement associated with connected and automated driving technology research.
