Congratulations to Associate Director Daniel Rodríguez for being amongst the top 25 most cited planning faculty in North America for a second year in a row, ranked by Google Scholar Citations.
Rodríguez is Chancellor’s Professor of City and Regional Planning and his research focuses on the relationship between transportation, land development, and the health and environmental impacts that follow.
His work was cited 7,485 times in 2017. He was in good company, UC Berkeley ranked ninth on the list of Urban Planning Programs Ranked by Median Google Scholar Citations, with 15 faculty, 69,754 total citations, a median of 1,331 citations and a mean of 4,650 citations.
