Seth Young is an internationally recognized leader and expert in aviation and airport operations, planning, and management.
Dr. Young was previously the McConnell Chair of Aviation and Director of the Center for Aviation Studies at The Ohio State University. He is a longtime collaborator with David Lovell on a variety of research and academic initiatives through the NEXTOR consortium. He and Dr. Lovell are continuing a multi-year project funded by through the FAA's Office of Airports to estimate aircraft performance metrics that will be used as inputs into a developing small airport capacity model. The upcoming years of this project will include the continued development of hardware and transference of software architecture from The Ohio State University to servers hosted by ISR.
