Jacquelyn Broader

Jacquelyn graduated from UC Berkeley in 2019 with a major in Urban Studies and minors in Disability Studies and Sustainable Design. Her undergraduate thesis discussed increasing accessibility in air travel for people with disabilities. She is now working on projects with TSRC focused on accessibility and emerging mobility modes. Jacquelyn is originally from Fresno, California.

Koohong Chung

Continuing Lecturer

Koohong Chung splits his time among UC Berkeley as continuing lecturer, Korea University as Invited Professor and California Department of Transportation as Transportation Management Plan Coordinator.

He received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley. His research interest includes traffic safety, traffic flow and image processing.  

Adam Cohen

Adam Cohen is a transportation thought leader, consultant, and shared mobility researcher at the Transportation Sustainability Research Center at the University of California, Berkeley. Since joining the group in 2004, his research has focused on innovative urban mobility solutions, including shared mobility, smart cities technologies, smartphone apps, urban air mobility, and other emerging technologies.

Jarah Crowner

Policy & Program Analyst

At SafeTREC, Jarah coordinates Street Story: a community engagement platform that collects information about transportation collisions, near-misses, hazards, or safe places to travel. She provides technical assistance to organizations and agencies on how to use the tool within the communities they serve. Jarah also serves as support staff for the Community Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Training program.  

Richard Davis

Richard joined TSRC in March 2019 while pursuing his Master's in Urban Planning at San Jose State University. His research topics and interests include the development of smart cities as a concept for sustainable urbanization and the emergence of dockless vehicles. Prior to joining TSRC, he worked as a writer in Los Angeles. He is quoted as an expert in writing for cinematic virtual reality in the textbook Virtual Reality Filmmaking: Techniques & Best Practices for VR Filmmakers (Routledge) by Celine Tricart.
