Bio/CV:

Brian Peterson is a Systems Development Manager with over 28 years of experience in the engineering and software development industries. His career has included work with aircraft gas turbine maintenance and research, flight management systems, systems engineering, and software development in small and enterprise level projects. Since joining PATH he has managed the Connected Corridors program’s Systems Development team. The team is responsible for three primary objectives:

  • Develop a pre-production, first generation Decision Support System as part of the effort to develop an Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) system

  • Support the research and data needs of the Connected Corridors program

With experience in both traditional and agile methodologies along with a background in the engineering discipline, Brian has led the development team since 2013. This has led to a system design and plan to effectively move the research into a platform that can be used to support corridor level decision support, transportation planning, and further the research.

Prior to joining PATH, Brian worked for the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Air Force’s Wright Research and Development Center, ARINC, several smaller companies, as an independent consultant, and for UC Berkeley.
