Liza Lutzker, MPH (she/her) is a Research Data Analyst with SafeTREC and a doctoral student in epidemiology at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. Liza earned a BA with majors in Biology and Philosophy from Amherst College and an MPH in Epidemiology from the Yale School of Public Health. She has worked widely across the field of environmental and occupational epidemiology, including at both the Massachusetts and California Departments of Public Health, and for the last 10 years in the Environmental Health Sciences division at the Berkeley School of Public Health. Dr. Iman Mahdinia is a postdoctoral researcher at the Safe Transportation Research and Education Center (SafeTREC) at UC Berkeley. Dr. Mauch is an Assistant Research Engineer at UC Berkeley’s Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS) and California Partners for Advanced Transit and Highways (PATH). Since rejoining the TSRC in early 2022, Ruth has worked on the development of evaluation plans of public transportation projects and bike sharing data analysis. In 2019, she worked with the TSRC as an undergrad and assisted with writing a white paper on the social equity impacts of congestion management strategies. Ruth graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. and M.S. in civil and environmental engineering in 2019 and 2021, respectively, and was a student in the Energy, Civil Infrastructure, and Climate (ECIC) program.
